4th Grade

Eldorado PK-8’s 4th grade program immerses students in Colorado history through engaging field trips to local landmarks like the State Capitol, Walker Ranch, and the History Colorado Museum. Students also enjoy a special Building Colorado Cities presentation and celebrate the year with a fun pool party at South Pool. In science, units focus on rocks, soils, landforms, magnets and electricity, and plant life under varying conditions. A family favorite is the Annual Colorado Animals Museum, where students research a Colorado animal, write reports, and create projects to share their learning.
