Technology

Eldorado PK-8’s middle school Technology program offers hands‑on, project‑based learning that prepares students for a tech‑driven world. Core offerings — Design Tech, Robotics, and Programming — let learners design, build, and code while working in teams to solve authentic problems. Classes emphasize creativity, iteration, and real‑world application. Students present their work, reflect on improvements, and see clear connections between classroom projects and future pathways in STEM. Course Offerings
Design Tech guides students through the design process: identifying needs, sketching concepts, prototyping, testing, and refining solutions with attention to usability and sustainability.
Robotics combines mechanical design, electronics, and control systems so students construct robots, program behaviors, and complete challenge tasks in collaborative settings.
Programming introduces computational thinking and coding skills, moving from block‑based tools to text‑based languages as students create apps, games, and automated projects.
